12/13/2008: "Sacred Journey for Vaughan Small Group"
The Vaughan small group recently shared their love with the Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, Georgia, by delivering coffee and donuts to the staff and families. More pictures of this and other Small Group projects can be viewed in our Picture Gallery.
Later, eight of the group members visited Sacred Journey and installed their outside Christmas decorations. “We had a great time and the facility looked beautiful when we were finished.”
Afterwards, the Vaughan small group celebrated their success at a local restaurant, but their Christian influence did not end there. Several of the group members have completed volunteer training for the facility and will continue to serve at Sacred Journey to assist families and patients.
