01/30/2009: "Christmas Sing Along Success!"

We are a little late on reporting about this, but it was so good we can't let it pass by.

A "Small Group with a Big Idea" pulled off one of the best events of the Christmas season: A Christmas sing along at the Camp Fortson 4-H Center in Hampton.

We dropped in and was entertained with some wonderful singing from some of Community Bible Church's most talented performers! In addition to the singing, there was plenty of food and drinks for all!

Attendees and performers alike wrapped up the best they could and braved the cold weather to Celebrate Christ's birth by making a joyful noise, and joyful it was! The lake and covered bridge provided the perfect back-drop to the occasion.

Many thanks to our friends from the Flowing River Fellowship for helping out with the sound system and the crafts table.
