It's All About Love

Community is more than just our name. Community is our focus. Community is our passion! By demonstrating Christ's love throughout the community the Community Bible Church Local Out-Team spreads Christ's good word among our neighbors in a manner which they are the most receptive to.

We are more than just a friendly handshake and a warm smile. To our community we provide love in times of loneliness; compassion in times of pain; strength in times of weakness; understanding in times of trouble; relief in times of dispair, support in times of healing and encouragement in times of strife. We are living testaments of God's goodness.

Our activism creates opportunities for you. Opportunities to serve, to lead, to build strong relationships. Opportunities to provide relief, change lives and change hearts. Whatever your Christian passion, the Local Out-Team provides opportunity.

Join with us as we reach out to our neighbors in need with our HUG Cookouts, strategically held at locations in Clayton County and Henry County, or help relieve hunger in both the tummy and soul by serving food to the homeless in a parking lot in downtown Atlanta with our Urban HUG Team. Help brighten a homeless child's day with our Birthday HUG Club as they pay monthly visits to homeless shelters to celebrate birthdays, or help an inmate get their life under control with our Jailhouse HUG Team.

Children are welcome to participate in most of our events and we even have a ministry just for them. By participating in our Bags of Love ministry children have a great time preparing small bags of gifts to be used at our other events. Occasionally, Bags of Love will even host their own event, like our Easter Bunny sneak attacks each Easter.

From holiday parades to fairs and festivals, the Local Out-Team provides many other occasions to minister within our community. But, none of these would be possible without caring Christians like you who are willing to share their time, knowledge and experience with others.

How do you join in the excitement? Simply click here and drop us a note. We would love to hear from you.

Welcome to Community Reaching Out

Challenge yourself or your small group to step outside of the walls of your comfort zone and reach out into our community serving others and sharing God's love! We are here to help you get started. We are the Local Out-Team.

Community Reaching Out is the on-line presence of the Local Out-Team - the evangelism and outreach arm of Community Bible Church in Henry County, Georgia. Join in the excitement as we demonstrate God's love in our and neighboring communities.
